Makeblock P1030024 Editorial Review
The Makeblock Codey Rocky has garnered a mix of enthusiastic and critical feedback from customers. Many users praise its engaging design and the variety of learning opportunities it provides for children as well as adults interested in programming. The robot's aesthetic appeal, described as "much cuter" than previous models, and its expressive features like a wide dot display enhance its interactive potential, making it a favorite for many families. However, the reception is tempered by notable frustrations regarding the software and connectivity issues. While the hardware is generally well-received, many users express disappointment with the accompanying apps, which they categorize as poorly maintained and confusing. Specific complaints include the need for newer mobile devices to utilize the Bluetooth features and the limited functionality for Linux users, which restricts access to the development environment. Some parents highlight that the tutorials are somewhat lacking, and that children may struggle without adult assistance. Despite these drawbacks, many find the overall experience satisfactory. The power of the motors, extended battery life, and compatibility with Lego Technic add to its appeal. However, the need for better software support and updates remains a recurring theme in the feedback. **
