Cotytech Monitor Stands Editorial Review
The Cotytech Dual Apple Desk Mount Spring Arm Clamp Base (DM-GS2A-C) has received generally positive feedback from customers, highlighting its sturdy build and ease of use. Users have found the setup process to be fairly straightforward, especially when mounting Apple Thunderbolt displays and iMacs. The product is praised for its aesthetic appeal and strong, stable design that holds monitors securely in place while allowing for easy adjustments. Many users appreciate the fact that the mount does not require an additional VESA adapter for Apple displays, making the assembly process quicker. The flexibility in positioning the monitors is another noted advantage, as the arms provide "infinite degrees of freedom" which allows for both landscape and portrait orientations. However, there are some caveats; several users pointed out issues with cheap plastic components, particularly the retainers in the cable channel that could potentially damage cables during setup. Moreover, concerns about the mount flexing Considerably, especially when holding heavier monitors, were mentioned. While some found the installation to be challenging, particularly when attaching the monitors, the support received from customer service to resolve missing parts was commendable. Overall, while the Cotytech mount is praised for its functionality and design, potential buyers should be prepared for some minor drawbacks, particularly with the durability of certain components. **
