Thrush Mufflers 17638 Editorial Review
The Thrush 17638 Welded Muffler has garnered a mixed yet generally favorable reception among customers looking for an upgrade to their vehicles' exhaust systems. Users frequently praise the unique sound it delivers, describing it as a deep rumble at idle, which becomes notably louder at speed. One customer highlighted that this muffler might not be conducive to conversation while driving, emphasizing its power to make a statement on the road. Many reviews report that the installation process is relatively straightforward, especially for those replacing older mufflers, as it shares compatible dimensions with popular brands like Flowmaster. The muffler's design (one inlet and two outlets) is also noted for simplifying the creation of a dual exhaust configuration. However, some users have expressed disappointment concerning inaccuracies in product description and occasional defects, such as bent components upon arrival, which detracts from the overall satisfaction. The Thrush welded muffler seems to strike a balance for those who desire a sporty sound without the excessive drone often found in other performance mufflers. While it is acknowledged for its aggressive tone, people favor its deeper sound profile compared to other products in the market. Overall, customers appear pleased with its performance relative to the price, making it a popular choice for those modifying their vehicles for improved sound and style. **
