AQUARIUM SALT promotes healthy gill function and improves fish respiration, adding essential electrolytes that fish need to reach peak coloration and health. AQUARIUM SALT also promotes disease recovery and reduces the harmful effects of nitrite on your fish. You should use every time you perform a partial water change and to promote fish disease recovery during or after treatment.

| Instructions | Add 1 rounded tablespoon for every 5 U.S. gallons (20L) or 0.5 rounded teaspoon for every 1 U.S. gallon (4L) of aquarium water. NOTE: Aquarium salt does not evaporate, and is not filtered out, so it should only be added with each water change and only for the volume of water being changed. Care should be taken when using salt with live plants, as some plants may be sensitive. |
