SONOFF Motion Detectors SNZB-03P Editorial Review
**** The SONOFF SNZB-03P Zigbee Motion Sensor has received mixed feedback from users, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. Many customers praise its seamless integration with popular smart home systems like Home Assistant and Alexa, noting that adding the device is quick and straightforward. Its responsiveness is particularly noted, with several users reporting nearly instantaneous detection, which proves beneficial for automations such as lighting control based on occupancy. Battery life is another strong point of the SNZB-03P, with users expressing satisfaction regarding its longevity, often citing the 3-year duration as impressive. The magnetic base design is appreciated for allowing flexible mounting angles, ensuring optimal sensor performance. However, the product is not without its flaws. Some users have encountered difficulties when attempting to integrate the sensor with Hubitat, reporting that it doesn't always register as a motion detector, which may hinder usability. Complaints regarding the product manual's lack of detail for battery access and the challenge of changing the battery without damaging the unit reflect a need for improved user guidance. Additionally, concerns over build quality arise, with descriptions of the device being made from soft plastic that could easily be damaged. Ultimately, while the SONOFF SNZB-03P Zigbee Motion Sensor offers solid motion detection and integration capabilities, users should be prepared for potential setup challenges and Considerations regarding its Construction. **
