The beyerdynamic T5 High-end Tesla Headphones offer great sound even without the use of an amp, but an amp is recommended for extra punch. While the headphones are rated at 32 ohms, they are still drivable with anything and provide accurate sound. The T5 headphones are slightly bass-heavy and still have not been recommended for traveling or using in an office environment because of the noise leakage. The sound quality of the headphones is excellent, and one satisfied customer even felt they were better than the Sennheiser HD 600. However, one customer did encounter a problem with rattling noise but managed to solve it. The headphones have noise leakage due to the closed-back nature, but the sound quality is terrific, and the bass is clear and present without being overwhelming. The headphones are comfortable to wear for extended periods, although they can get a little hot. Customers are happy with their purchase overall but would probably go for the T1's if they didn't have to worry about disturbing others. **
