Rune Factory 5 on Nintendo Switch has been highly anticipated by fans, and the gameplay has been improved with an updated 3D, 3rd-person perspective. Although this game supports German, French and English, it does not offer Chinese subtitles. There is some character customization, but not a lot. The combat, story, characters, and crafting and farming mechanics are all praised, and fans appreciate the focus on multiple activities and absence of linearity. The game has impressive visual graphics but the dungeons are lacklustre and the enemies typical for a JRPG. NPC's are enjoyable and the main characters are likable however town life is a bit too bland for its characters. In terms of Cons, the game suffers from lagging and draw distance, as well as crashes. Despite some of these issues such as blandness of the town and the game crashes, Rune Factory 5 remains an enjoyable game according to customers.
