The dig-git Beach Umbrella is an all aluminum Constructed umbrella with fiberglass ribs and a fully vented umbrella top. It comes with a shovel anchor that is engineered to swivel and lock, making it easy to dig and fill the hole with sand for stability. The umbrella has been tested and survived 35 mph plus winds. It is the only beach umbrella that can be lowered all the way into the base post, making it unique. The diameter of the umbrella is 80 inches and it has a height of approximately 94 inches. It is made of 600-hour fade-resistant polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating for water repellency and UV protection. The SPF factor is 50+. The umbrella is a little heavy, but the dual carry straps make it easier to carry. Customers have praised the umbrella for being sturdy and holding up to windy beach days. The umbrella remains standing in the wind and provides excellent shade for two chairs. The design of the umbrella is clever, making it compact and efficient, and it fits back into the carrying case nicely.
