Qolsys Accessories QS1331-840 Editorial Review
The QOLSYS IQ Key Fob has garnered mixed reviews from users, primarily revolved around its usability, compatibility, and quality. On the positive side, some customers praised the product for its ease of use and compact size, highlighting that it simplifies security system management by allowing for different modes like "armed stay" and "armed away." This feature, in particular, has been appreciated by those who wish to provide access to guests without compromising security through shared codes. However, the reception was marred by significant compatibility issues. Many users expressed frustration over the lack of clear technical specifications, specifically noting that the fob does not work with the Qolsys IQ Hub's Power G configuration, which was not made apparent in product listings. This led to wasted time and effort as customers attempted to make the device function properly with incompatible systems. Furthermore, some users reported a faulty unit straight out of the box, with issues such as an unattached battery terminal, requiring DIY fixes to make the device operational. In conclusion, while the QOLSYS IQ Key Fob offers specific advantages in terms of usability for security systems, potential customers should be cautious about compatibility matters and the quality control of the products they purchase. **
