It comes with durable and quality clamps that can help prolong the life of the adapter. The replaceable standard automotive fuse ensures the wires do not carry too much current and cause damage. The extension cord on the adapter is 24 inches long. However, the wire itself is a little thin. One customer had an issue with the quality of the adapter. They used it to power a portable air compressor, but both battery clamps had to be replaced after only a couple of months.
