If I get these strings and play Jazz, do I have to buy a hat?
Answer: You do not absolutely have to buy a hat, but if you don't you will probably will never be able to play a flat 13th chord or enjoy non-filtered cigarettes. -

'Scuse the dumb question, but are these for acoustic or electric?
Answer: Pretty sure, in the purest sense, they're meant for electric jazz guitars, such as that Gibson ES-Something-or-Other archtop guitar. They can also be used on several different acoustic guitars. -

Would these work for an acoustical guitar?
Answer: It's all about the tone you want. These strings have a different sound from typical acoustic strings. They are silky smooth and have a unique sound on acoustic guitars. -

Would the 10-48 strings sit in my 10-46 guitar?
Answer: Yes, you might want to file the 48 notch if it seems small. Using graphite can help with friction. -
Question:
What does light gauge and medium gauge mean and what is the difference?

Answer: Never tried anything lower than drop D with this set. Open D should work, but anything much lower might be too floppy. -

I have a solid body Carvin. I've used a .62 roundwound. Will a .65 flatwound fit in the nut?
Answer: I never take for granted that a string will fit in my existing notch. I have files just in case and always use graphite. -

Will these fit a 29.75” baritone scale?
