The microSHIFT Thumb Shifter Set is a great find for those looking for a replacement shifter that fits vintage aesthetics. These shifters are made in Taiwan and look elegant. The set is 8-speed, double/triple and Shimano compatible. Their actuation ratio is simple and there is slight resistance, but shifting works well. The rear derailleur shifter has an option of index or friction shifting. The front derailleur shifter is only friction mode. The shifter set is also versatile and can be used on a 3x7 bike if the limit screws are properly adjusted.
